Gamekeeper's Cottage

The 18th-century Gamekeeper's Cottage is situated in the centre of Windermere village. It is an ideal base from which to explore the English Lake District and Lake Windermere.

On the first floor you walk into the large, fully-fitted dining kitchen with a flat screen TV above the table and chairs. This leads down a step into the large lounge with beamed ceiling, that features a TV and DVD player. There is also a luxury shower and toilet at the bottom of the stairs. Up the stairs leading to the first floor landing there is a double bedroom, a children's bunk bedroom and a master ensuite bedroom.

The cottage is set in a quiet courtyard with parking space outside for one car. It is only a two-minute walk to many shops and restaurants.

Gamekeeper's Cottage is a no-smoking self-catering deluxe property of real character.

Gamekeeper's Cottage welcomes well-behaved small dogs in the stone-flagged floor kitchen area, but not in the rest of the cottage. There is a baby travel cot available.
